P.E.A.C.E. 100 or Police-Elks Assisting Community Education was the name chosen to symbolize the Elks' commitment to helping communities throughout Saskatchewan. Proceeds are directed to the Addiction Awareness Programs: "Just Say No To Drugs And Alcohol" with funding provided for activities such as:
- Chem Free Graduation
- R.A.D. (Racing Against Drugs)
- Annual Healthy Choices Contest
- D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education)
D.A.R.E. is run by specially trained RCMP officers. Presently, there are over 80 such officers. This is an intensive course for Grades 5 and 6 that is taught over 17 sessions of 45 - 60 minutes each in the classroom.
Our goal is to assist police, lodges, schools, organizations and people with problems. This work is on a continuous basis.
